Travis Kelce’s ex Kayla Nicole’s cryptic message about Taylor Swift’s new album frustrates fans
Kayla Nicole, who previously dated Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, seemingly took a swipe at the frenzy surrounding Swift’s upcoming album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”
Swifties allegedly sent hate tweets to model Kayla Nicole after she tweeted about struggling to keep up with new albums, following Beyonce’s recent release.
Fans frustrated by Nicole’s reaction
Some fans accused Nicole of shading Taylor Swift, Kelce’s new girlfriend, whose highly anticipated album is set to drop soon.
“I’m unproblematic. Mind my business. Never respond to the constant vitriol,” Nicole wrote on social media.
“Solid as they come & don’t expect a pat on the back for it either. Just know everyone has a breaking point & would love for ‘yall’ (because you know exactly who you are) to leave me alone.”
Many interpreted Nicole’s message as subtle shade directed at Swift, who is set to drop her highly anticipated project.
“ho you will always be known as taylor’s boyfriend’s ex worry about that,” a user wrote.
Another added: “okay? wdgaf and the new albums will do just fine without your streams.”
When a fan advised Kayla Nicole to “log off” to preserve her sanity, she responded by highlighting her success from being active on social media, stating she made six figures last year.
“A better suggestion – people that use this platform to spew hate – log out and focus on getting their mattress off the floor,” she added.
The relationship between Kelce and Swift has been a hot topic since they went public more than a year after Kelce’s split from Nicole in 2022. While the NFL player’s romance with the “Bad Blood” singer continues to dominate headlines, Nicole has found herself at the center of online scrutiny, facing criticism from Swifties for various social media posts.
