Tom Brady takes aim at Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift by roasting Chiefs’ ‘14-year-old’ fans
Tom Brady took aim at Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift by dragging the Kansas City Chiefs’ new Swiftie fan base.
“Kansas City, you say your stadium is the loudest,” the retired New England Patriots quarterback said during Netflix’s “The Roast of Tom Brady” on Sunday night.
“It helps when all your fans are 14-year-old girls,” he then joked.
Brady, 46, later addressed the pop star, 34, directly by making a few Swift-centered puns.
“In honor of Tay Tay, let’s take a look at the Chiefs’ eras,” he said, referencing her blockbuster Eras Tour before alluding to one of her songs: “Terrible for 50 years, good for five. Shake it off.”
Kelce, also 34, has helped lead the Chiefs to win three Super Bowls in 2020, 2023 and 2024.
“In honor of Tay Tay, let’s take a look at the Chiefs’ eras,” he said.
Brady, for his part, won seven Super Bowls during his prolific 23-year career — the most by any player in NFL history.
Swift and Kelce weren’t the football legend’s only targets during his savage roast. He also gave a not-so-nice shout-out to Kim Kardashian, who was booed by audience members earlier in the evening while giving an introduction to the evening’s host, Kevin Hart.
- “I know Kim was terrified to be here tonight,” Brady told the boisterous crowd. “Not because of this but because her kids are at home with their dad.”
