The #Chiefs are set to receive their Super Bowl LVIII rings this Thursday.

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce completed the treble by winning their third Super Bowl in Las Vegas in February, triumphing over the San Francisco 49ers, but when will they finally get their hands on the latest rings of their careers?

The Kansas City Chiefs emerged victorious when Mahomes, the star of the team, threw the game-ending touchdown to Mercole Hardman after the 49ers appeared to inexplicably misunderstand the overtime rules, leaving the quarterback dumbfounded at his sheer luck.

From there, he wasted no time in driving them up the field before making the play to Hardman at the Allegiant Stadium to pull level with Troy Aikman and Earl Morrall on three Super Bowl wins each, astonishingly, Mahomes only made his debut in 2018.

As a result, they’ve been in celebration for months now and continue to await their rings once again before they lock in and focus on the opening game of the 2024/25 season against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football.

Mahomes and Kelce will get their rings during a ceremony that will be hosted on June 15, which is predicted based on the Chiefs hosting last years’ ceremony on that date after they beat the Philadelphia Eagles.

How much does an NFL ring cost?

The cost of an NFL Super Bowl ring can vary widely depending on its design, materials, and customizations. Typically, the price range for these rings is between $30,000 and $50,000. However, some rings can be even more expensive, especially those featuring more intricate designs and additional diamonds or other precious stones.

These rings are often made from precious metals such as yellow or white gold, though some may use platinum. They are adorned with numerous diamonds and sometimes other gemstones, with the number of diamonds often representing the team’s number of Super Bowl victories.

Generally, a ring will consist of the team’s logo, often set with diamonds or other gemstones. The specific Super Bowl (e.g., Super Bowl LVIII) and the year the Super Bowl was won are typically indicated on the ring. Each ring is personalized with the player’s name and jersey number, ensuring that every team member has a unique memento of their achievement.
