The teenage royals made a rare joint appearance as they attended a workshop on innovation and creativity led by the Spanish chef Ferran Adrià in Gironda in the Galicia region of Spain today.

Leonor, who is the heir to the Spanish throne, donned an elegant orange linen dress.

Meanwhile, her younger sister opted for a vibrant crimson co-ord and a pair of espadrilles tied at the ankle.

The teen princesses attended the event without their illustrious parents – King Felipe and Queen Letizia.

Leonor, who just graduated from UWC Atlantic College in Wales – known as ‘Hippy Hogwarts – was every bit the mature royal as she stepped out with her sister.

Her long-sleeve, midi-length orange number was adorned with hearts and included a knot at the bust, which emphasised her petite waist.

She wore it with a pair of espadrilles – the Spanish royal families’ footwear of choice during the summer months – and a cream clutch bag.

Her brown locks were styled into a wave hairdo, with two platinum strands parted on each side of her face.

She donned minimal makeup, with some mascara and eyeliner and a rosy lip gloss.

Meanwhile, her sister Sofia showcased her sartorial flair in a pair of high-waisted crimson trousers, which she paired with a sleeveless shirt.
