News now : Tom Brady’s Children sends a Brutal Message to both parents and isn’t funny as Tom Brady teary-eyed admits he has failed as Dad
Tom Brady may have signed himself up for a roast on Sunday, but it seems he gets enough of that from his kids at home.
On Sunday, May 5, the retired NFL pro, 46, attended The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady, a live comedy roast held as part of the Netflix Is a Joke comedy festival in Inglewood, California.
Chatting with Entertainment Tonight ahead of his roast, Brady shared that he was “not prepared” for some of the jokes but that he has a thick skin as a dad to teenagers.
“I’m just their dad, so everything I do is lame and you know, there’s nothing I do that’s right,” he laughed. “But it’s fun being a dad. I’ve got some great kids.”
The athlete shares son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11, with ex Gisele Bündchen, and son Jack, 16, with ex Bridget Moynahan.
“I’m gonna obviously hope they don’t tune in tonight because there’s gonna be way too many things that are inappropriate,” Brady told the outlet. “But oh well! They’ll learn it somehow.”
Appearing on DeepCut with VicBlends in April, Brady chatted about how he transitioned to being a father, sharing that he believes you can improve at being a parent.
“You get better as a parent, I think, because you know when you’re a young parent, you don’t really know what you’re doing. You’re winging it. You’re trying to wing it,” Brady said.
“So I think when you become a parent, you’re trying new things for the first time, you’re going through all these things for the first time so you don’t exactly know always the right thing to say. As you go, you get a little bit better at it, you get a little more understanding of it and you try to just continue to kind of refresh your skills as a parent.”
“‘Am I listening or am I talking? Am I mentoring, or am I disciplining? Am I holding them accountable or am I letting them get away with things?’ ” explained the dad of three.
On Valentine’s Day this year, Brady took a moment to honor all three of his Valentines, sharing a photo of his three kids all huddled up together.
“I ❤️ My Forever Valentines,” he captioned the first shot. Next, he added an individual shot of his oldest, writing, “Love you Jack ❤️❤️❤️.”
Next was a photo of Benny, sharing a tired smile in his football jersey, where the dad wrote, “…and you too Benny❤️.”
Last but not least was a photo of Vivi, where he wrote, “And of course you Vivi❤️❤️❤️. HVD to you all ❤️.”
