Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his teammates faced a grueling second day of training camp, battling sweltering heat and exhaustion as they pushed through intense drills and exercises.
The NFL superstar, known for his tireless work ethic and dedication, was seen sweating profusely as he ran routes and caught passes from quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Despite the challenging conditions, Kelce remained focused and energized, urging his teammates on and leading by example.
“It’s days like today that separate the champions from the rest,” Kelce said in a post-practice interview. “We’re building mental toughness and physical endurance. We’re going to need it all to make a run at the Super Bowl again.”
The heat and humidity were palpable, with temperatures soaring into the triple digits. But Kelce and the Chiefs didn’t let that slow them down, powering through the discomfort to get the work done.
