Rookie Raves About Veteran Leader: Leo Chenal Praises Travis Kelce’s Work Ethic and Welcoming Nature
In a league where veterans often set the tone for team culture, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is leading by example. Rookie linebacker Leo Chenal, fresh out of the University of Wisconsin, has taken notice of Kelce’s exceptional work ethic and welcoming nature.
“Travis is the ultimate leader,” Chenal said in a recent interview. “He’s always the first one in and the last one out of the facility. His dedication to his craft is inspiring, and it pushes me to work harder every day.”
Chenal, who was drafted by the Chiefs in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft, has been impressed by Kelce’s willingness to mentor and guide rookies. “Travis has taken me under his wing and shown me the ropes. He’s always offering advice and encouragement, which means a lot coming from a player of his caliber.”
