Roger Federer Shares Selfie with Taylor Swift at Night 1 of ‘The Eras Tour’ in Zurich, Switzerland
Tennis legend Roger Federer recently shared a selfie with global superstar Taylor Swift on the first night of her Eras Tour in Zurich, Switzerland. Federer, a self-proclaimed “Swiftie,” attended the concert with his family and even collected friendship bracelets with references to Swift’s songs.
The 20-time Grand Slam champion took to Instagram to post a photo of the bracelets, which included the words “Problems,” “Hero,” and “Wildest.” He also appeared to have access to the “Fearless Lounge” part of Swift’s concert. Federer’s presence at the Eras Tour comes less than a month after Swift left a handwritten note for tennis star Iga Swiatek, another famous tennis player who attended the Eras Tour.
Federer’s attendance at the concert was not the only celebrity sighting at the Eras Tour. Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Sir Keir Starmer were among the fans who attended Swift’s sold-out shows at Wembley Stadium in June. Other famous faces spotted at the Europe leg of the tour include Nicola Coughlan, Sir Paul McCartney, Cara Delevingne, Hugh Grant, Rob Beckett, Salma Hayek, and Jonathan Van Ness.
Swift’s boyfriend, American football player Travis Kelce, was also spotted at one of her Amsterdam shows, where he appeared to grow emotional during her performance of songs associated with their relationship.
Federer’s selfie with Swift marks a fun moment in the tennis star’s retirement. He has been keeping busy with various projects, including a documentary about the last days of his professional tennis career. The former World No. 1 retired from professional tennis at the Laver Cup in 2022 but has remained a beloved figure in the sports world.
