“Pray for My Daddy”: Worrying News Strikes Patrick Mahomes’ Family as Mom Randi Shares Update on Her Ailing Dad
NFL mom, Randi Mahomes, often credits her parents for her success. Her father, particularly, prioritized her education over everything else. This dedication made her the woman she is today. Last year, she lost her mother, Debbie Bates. While Patrick Mahomes‘ mother and family are trying to bounce back from the loss, this year is also bringing its own set of challenges. She recently shared something that worried her fans.
Sharing an update about her father’s health on X (formerly Twitter), she wrote, “Prayer warriors please pray for my daddy. He is in the hospital and is not well.. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 his name is Randy.” She shares a sweet relationship with her father, which is visible on her Instagram.
In 2020, she shared a collage of photos of her father on the occasion of Father’s Day. Showing her love, she aptly captioned it, “Happy Father’s Day dad!! I love you.” Fans also joined her in wishing Randy. While one fan commented, “School principal. Oh, the stories he must have 😊 Happy Father’s Day!,” another one chimed in and wrote, “Happy Father’s Day Coach!!! Seems like only yesterday we were walking the halls of our old high school❤️.”
While her son Patrick Mahomes has been successful in the NFL, Randi keeps her family together. She is often seen with her children, supporting them in the stadiums. Last year, when her dad was alone during Easter, she brought her whole family to the home. Posting a family photo with the caption, “Priceless time with my family ❤️God is so Great,” the post won the hearts of every fan.
Amidst all this, we got reminded of the time when she said that MVP may leave football too soon.
Patrick Mahomes may leave football it if affects family: Randi Mahomes
Family is supreme for the Mahomes family. It is something they wouldn’t compromise on. Randy taught this to his daughter, who passed this on to the NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes. During an interview in July this year, she shed light on the QB’s mindset of balancing his family and the spotlight. And it surprised fans.
The Grim Reaper is already on a record-breaking spree (a 3-peat of Super Bowls). However, Randi revealed, “I hear him, you know, make comments like, If the game takes away from my kids, I might not play as long as Tom Brady, and I’m like, I’m so proud of him for that.” While Patrick Mahomes’ love and dedication to his family is known to everyone, leaving football might be a far-fetched step. Chiefs wouldn’t want that under any circumstance, at least for the next 4-5 years.
While the MVP has begun the season on a high note, this personal situation would worry him as well. Stay tuned for more updates about this.
