The Miz and Travis Kelce Golf Together at the American Century Championship
WWE superstar The Miz and NFL tight end Travis Kelce teed off together at the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe ¹. The pair were grouped together for the opening round, along with Jason Kelce, Travis’ brother and a former Philadelphia Eagles center ¹.
The Miz, a keen golfer, finished 85th out of 89 golfers in the tournament, but still managed to make the most of the experience ². He was seen celebrating a successful shot onto the green with a chest bump with Jason Kelce, and later shared a chest bump with Travis Kelce as well ².
Despite his poor performance, The Miz was in high spirits, saying that “life is about moments” and that people will remember his celebration rather than his finish in the tournament ².
Travis Kelce, on the other hand, had a bit of a rough tournament, accidentally hitting a spectator with his opening tee shot ¹ ³. He made amends by kissing the fan’s arm and shaking his hand ¹ ³.
The American Century Championship is a celebrity golf tournament that features a unique scoring system and format ⁴. The event is televised and features a $750,000 prize pool ⁴.
