Despite rumours swirling that Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, are planning to get engaged, a source has firmly denied these claims.

The couple, both 34, who went public with their relationship in September after meeting at one of Swift’s concerts, have been making headlines with their romantic outings.

However, an insider has spilled “There are still no plans for an engagement,” adding, “It’s still new and they’re happy and still getting to know each other.” This comes despite previous reports suggesting the pair were planning a summer engagement.

The source that spoke to The Messenger, was seemingly trying to put an end to the engagement plan claims reported by Page Six. Speaking to the outlet, a source recently spilled: “Taylor and Travis discussed it and there is a plan. They will get engaged on their one-year anniversary in July.”

Taylor first showed up to support her boyfriend Travis at a Kansas City Chiefs game in September. She was seen cheering for him at Arrowhead Stadium as he played with his team.

Towards the end of 2023, Taylor opened up about her romance with the NFL hunk when she told TIME Magazine: “I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game,” but she added, “We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”

She also said: “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care…”
