From Touchdown to Tee Shots: Travis Kelce Takes a Swing at Comedy— Confirmed to Star in Happy Gilmore 2 Alongside Adam Sandler
Travis Kelce is taking his charm and charisma from the football field to the big screen! The Kansas City Chiefs tight end has just confirmed that he’ll be joining Adam Sandler in the long-awaited sequel to the classic golf comedy, Happy Gilmore.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of this iconic franchise,” Kelce said in a statement. “Adam Sandler is a comedy legend, and I’m excited to learn from him and bring some humor to the film.”
Details about Kelce’s role are still under wraps, but sources close to the production say he’ll be playing a former football player turned golf pro who helps Happy Gilmore (Sandler) get his game back on track.
“Travis brings a high level of energy and enthusiasm to the film,” Sandler said. “We’re excited to have him on board and can’t wait to see what he brings to the role!”
