Andy Reid Praises Travis Kelce’s Continuous Improvement: ‘Taylor Swift Can Stick Around All She Wants, She Makes Him Better’
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has praised tight end Travis Kelce for his consistent growth and improvement, crediting his hard work and dedication to the sport. In a surprising twist, Reid also welcomed Kelce’s new friendship with global superstar Taylor Swift, saying she can “stick around all she wants” because she brings out the best in him.
“Travis is a special player, and he’s only getting better with time,” Reid said in a recent interview. “He’s got a great work ethic, and he’s always looking for ways to improve. And if Taylor Swift is part of that equation, then so be it. She can stick around all she wants, because she makes him better.”
Reid’s comments come after Swift and Kelce were spotted together on several occasions, sparking rumors of a potential collaboration or even a romantic relationship. While neither Swift nor Kelce has confirmed the nature of their friendship, Reid is thrilled to see his star player thriving both on and off the field.
“Travis is a leader on our team, and he’s got a great energy about him,” Reid said. “If Taylor Swift is helping to fuel that energy, then we’re all for it. She’s welcome to come to any of our games or practices – we’ll even give her a sideline pass.”
Swift, known for her chart-topping hits and record-breaking albums, has been a longtime sports fan and has been spotted at various NFL games over the years. Her friendship with Kelce has raised eyebrows, but Reid is convinced it’s a positive influence on his player.
“Travis is a grown man, and he knows what he’s doing,” Reid said with a chuckle. “If Taylor Swift makes him happy and helps him play better football, then we’re all for it. She’s got our seal of approval.”
