Jason and Travis Kelce have become very well-known for their exploits away from the gridiron despite their achievements on it.

The brothers have combined to win four Super Bowl titles in their NFL careers — but thanks to Travis’ relationship with world-famous singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end is rarely out of the headlines for long.

Jason, the older brother and a recently-retired offensive lineman for the Philadelphia Eagles, likes to tease Travis whenever he can — especially if the platform is their popular “New Heights” podcast. The next edition of the show could feature commentary on Travis’ latest stylistic choice, debuted for all at a recent NBA playoff game.

Jason clowns Travis for his ripped jeans

Travis Kelce joined Chiefs teammates Marquise Brown and Patrick Mahomes at Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Dallas Mavericks. The younger Kelce turned up wearing a pair of heavily-ripped and tattered blue jeans — a surprise fashion statement that caught the attention of Swifties online.

One asked on X (formerly Twitter) “what the f— did Taylor’s cats do with his jeans” — a reference to the Grammy-winning “Blank Space” singer’s three feline friends. The post went viral quickly, and it ended up in the older Kelce’s X feed, as he quoted it to say “now that’s funny!”

Swift’s cats have made their way into her lyrics at times — most notably on her hit “Karma” — and now they have joined an internet discourse about her partner’s wardrobe. Whether the three felines really did rip Travis’ jeans remains a subject of speculation — and likely, further good-humored mockery on the next “New Heights” episode.
